Duolingo & Memrise | Have Fun!

Hi everyone!

I know that vocabulary learning is a big thing most of the people because with traditional techniques it’s so boring. However, technology brings its benefits with itself and gives us different opportunities to learn languages. Today, want to talk about two different application I found very useful.

Firstly, I’m gonna talk about Duolingo. It’s an application within which you can find different languages to learn. If you ask why Duolingo, I would say that it’s not boring and old school. Today, we don’t like anything that brings the need of vomiting, also anything that is boring won’t help you to learn something because your motivation will be much lower each day. In a nutshell, please try it and inform me on your thoughts.

Secondly, Memrise would be a good choice to work on. Memrise simply the same thing with Duolingo but there is one thing that made my mind blown. That thing is the camera detection system of Memrise. You can hold your phone to any object and it shows you it’s name and meaning. Of course, sometimes, it makes wrong assumptions but we cannot deny its usefulness. Please give it a try!

Sutori of Everything

Hi everyone! I guess now that you know I love literature. So, I have made another work on literature but this time I have used Sutori to tell you about my story. Sutori is, again, a website in which you can create stories as you can see down below. What's more interesting is that you can also convert your prepared stories into presentations and do not need any other gear to create presentations. Additionally, it allows you to add images, links, videos, and audios as any interesting presentation or story should be. What I have most liked about it is the feature which helps you to add quizzes to your story. In short, Sutori has all the things making your work easier and more interesting. As always, I have created an example and in this example, I have mentioned the novels of Jane Austen. If you want to know more about the website you can click here .

MORE WAYS TO IMPROVE

Hi everyone! I'm happy to say that I have a super cool way of learning to talk about. Okay... It may not be super cool but it is super accessible and free. Have you ever heard about Udemy, Coursera, or edX? They're all online websites that enable you to take courses from all around the world. You don't have to go anywhere, just sit and learn. In addition, all these websites have free options, this means that you cannot say I don't have enough money. All you need is a computer or a smart device, internet and PASSION! I have taken a course and been taking another. Both of my courses are about psychology because I have a passion for this area. Here is my first certificate on increasing one's influence.  I challenge you to complete one of the courses that draw your attention and post it to me, or you could just enjoy learning something. See you later!

Native Speaker but Make It Digital! | 21st Century Skills Training

Hello friends! I hope you're having a good day with lots of sunlight and health. I'm at work and feeling well. In these COVID-19 days, going work and doing something out of my house feels levitating. In this post, we will talk about 4th lesson of 21st Century Skills Teacher Training.  The last lesson, as always, focused on different subjects and one of which was the terms related to digital environments. We have mainly talked about three different terms; technophobe, digital immigrant, digital native. Can you make any guesses what they could mean? or have your heard of them before?   Technophobe is an easy one I guess. People who do not understand technology and struggle with it, then as a result, became prejudiced and fearful of technology are named as technophobe. This is like every other phobia. If you do not understand something, you start to fear. Then, digital immigrant comes in, this term is has the same meaning with cultural immigrants but make cultural digi...
