CREATE YOUR CANVA!

Hi everyone!

Have you ever heard about Canva? It is an application that helps you with pre-made drafts of different kinds of cards. You can use these cards in order to fulfill different purposes but today I want to mention its use in education. Canva can be used in education while studying special days and holidays of a country, creating brochures, or you can give your students reading lists and they create a summary of a book by using different photos and they can present their cards in class.

You can see an example of mine above. I have created a Canva in the name of a Turkish Holiday.

I FEEL ENGLIGHTENED! | 2ND WEEK OF 21ST CENTURY SKILLS TRAINING

Hello friends! It’s been a week and half since the last post of mine. There has been quite busyness in my life but there is one thing that I enjoy in all busyness which is 21st Skills Training Course. In the 2nd week of this training, we have touched into two main topics which are collaboration skills and English as a global phenomena. In the first section of the class, we have focused on collaboration skills. At the beginning of the session, our teacher Melda Yılmaz introduced us to Linoit which is a website that allows you to create boards with sticky papers. In our session we used it to create stories. As groups, we were given certain words to chose from, then with my friends created a story using those words. At the end, we shared them as sticky notes, on our class board, with class mates. You've got a second chance! or Should I Say SECOND LIFE

Hi everyone! If I say that you could be whatever you want, would you believe me? Probably not. Let me explain a little bit. Last week, our instructor told us about Second Life which is a new world (or I can say life) online. In Second Life, we have a new world and a new us. We can create an avatar with the appearance we want. In short, we can be whomever we want to be and do whatever we want to do. This app also used as an educational tool. One example of it is my instructor Tuncer Can's project which brought about a lot of attention. If you want to learn more about his work, you can check it online. MORE WAYS TO IMPROVE

Hi everyone! I'm happy to say that I have a super cool way of learning to talk about. Okay... It may not be super cool but it is super accessible and free. Have you ever heard about Udemy, Coursera, or edX? They're all online websites that enable you to take courses from all around the world. You don't have to go anywhere, just sit and learn. In addition, all these websites have free options, this means that you cannot say I don't have enough money. All you need is a computer or a smart device, internet and PASSION! I have taken a course and been taking another. Both of my courses are about psychology because I have a passion for this area. Here is my first certificate on increasing one's influence. I challenge you to complete one of the courses that draw your attention and post it to me, or you could just enjoy learning something. See you later!
